One of my favourite memories from when I was a child was having French toast. We didn’t get it very often, but let’s face it; any dessert with icing sugar on top is one you’re going to remember! I’ll admit though when it comes to breakfast I can be a little lazy. I make a mean Whole Wheat Cheese Waffle, which is simply delicious, but I’m not making it every morning. (I usually make a triple batch and freeze them, they are better than eggs that’s for sure!)
I haven’t made French toast in ages and the other day I had a hankering for it, but like I said I’m kind of lazy. That’s when I whipped up this wonderful little dish, which my mother says is actually better than original French toast! I have to agree and it’s good cold too!
